Team BMC Rodman Ride 2019

Child Witness to Violence Project

Welcome to the fundraising page for the 2019 Rodman Ride, in support of The Child Witness to Violence Project at Boston Medical Center!

Greetings and thank you for visiting our page!  We are excited to particiate in the Rodman Ride!  The Rodman Ride for Kids is an umbrella matching gift charity, raising funds for youth-focused social service agencies in Massachusetts. The always popular Rodman Ride for Kids is a 25 or 50 mile non-competitive cycling tour.

Founded in 1992, The Child Witness to Violence Project is a nationally recognized clinical, advocacy, and outreach program that addresses the unique impact trauma has on children ages birth to 8 years old. Child Witness provides counseling and support services to over 250 children and families a year whose lives have been affected by violence and other kinds of trauma. Our hope is to intervene early in their lives, in order to foster resilience and healing from early trauma. Fortunately, we are able to provide these services at no cost because of thoughtful donations from friends, concerned citizens, foundations, grants and private donations.

In addition to providing services for families, Child Witness provides trauma trainings for other providers, agencies and entities serving young children around the Boston area and beyond.

By providing a donation to Team BMC you will do your part to ensure that BMC and The Child Witness to Violence Project continue to provide exceptional care, without exception making a difference in the lives of our littlest patients.  Any contribution is greatly appreciated!Welcome to the fundraising page for the 2019 Rodman Ride, in support of The Child Witness to Violence Project at Boston Medical Center!
