Team BMC rides in the annual Rodman Ride for Kids to support Boston Medical Center's (BMC) most vulnerable patients, who, at a very young age, experience unimaginable hardships. BMC meets the complex needs of its patients—needs that often transcend the scope of traditional medicine—by providing comprehensive, wraparound care suited to their unique needs. Many of these programs are not reimbursable but are essential to their health and well-being.
Pediatric patients are nurtured back to health through life-changing clinical and social support, thanks to programs such as: The Autism Program; the Center for Addiction Treatment for AdoLescent/Young adults who use SubsTances (CATALYST); the Center of Excellence in Sickle Cell Disease; the Child Witness to Violence Program; the Child Life Program; the Comprehensive Care Program; the Grow Clinic; the Kids Fund; the SPARK Center; the Supporting our Families through Addiction and Recovery (SOFAR) clinic; and The Teen & Tot Program.
Your donation to Team BMC will make a difference in the lives of BMC's youngest, most vulnerable patients.
About Rodman Ride for Kids
The Rodman Ride for Kids is the number one single-day athletic fundraiser in the nation, supporting at-risk children. Rodman Ride raises funds for youth-focused social service organizations that support at-risk kids in Massachusetts. The Ride's mission is, "to have every kid in our community live as we would want our own kids to live."
Rodman Ride serves as a catalyst for improving the well-being of youth by providing child welfare charities an opportunity to raise funds through this event. The Ride For Kids and its affiliated charities fundraise year-round, culminating with the Ride event, a 25- or 50-mile non-competitive cycling tour on Saturday, September 21, 2019.
